Hailing from the Oregon Territory, K.M. Collins is a geologist-gone-writer. Five generations deep in PNW hydrology, her Grandmother's were daughters of the White Salmon, Clackamas and Willamette Rivers. Though rafting is her favorite paddle pastime, she doesn't discriminate and also loves sea and lake kayaking. Roller skating, snowboarding and shuttling paddle trips by bike rank among her favorite land-based activities. Whatever you do, don't blow her cover as a freshwater mermaid.
