We are a fast-growing management-owned Pacific Northwest maker of high-quality thermoformed kayaks. For 50 years our reputation has been built on quality and service.
As a Controller with Eddyline, you play a key role in the performance management of our rapidly expanding business with an international supply chain and customer base. This new position will report to our co-owner/VP of operations and work closely with all members of the management team. You will play an important role in helping the organization achieve growth targets and foster a sound and solid financial controlling practice while balancing the demands of rapid growth.
Your role will be primarily performed onsite in Burlington, WA, 60 miles north of Seattle. Remote work (2 days/week) available after on-boarding and a probationary period of 60 days. We anticipate ample opportunity for continued advancement within the company due to rapid growth and new ventures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Ongoing monthly financial analysis
• Monthly business reviews of all operations
• Book closing activities
• Short term financial planning with yearly budgets and quarterly forecasts
• Long term financial planning
• Business case calculations to evaluate new opportunities
• Report generation
• Inventory and cost accounting
• Dashboarding and reporting
• Manage payables and receivables activities performed by current Eddyline personnel
• Exec and board report preparation
• Compliance
• Corporate insurance
Controller Qualifications / Skills:
Executing the development and management of processes related to:
• Efficient usage of all financial software
• Development of best practices and standards
• Auditing, accounting, and corporate finance standard operating procedures
• Sales tax implementation, filing, recording
• Demonstration of strong financial skills
• Analyzing information for use of strategic financial decision making
• Timely and accurate development of budgets
• Effective performance management
Education and/or Experience
• Experience with financial reporting requirements
• Five or more years of work experience in an accounting or finance role
• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance or a related field
• CPA license is preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), standards and regulations
• Multi state sales tax experienced preferred experience with a variety of accounting software, ERP systems and databases
• Superior data management and data analysis skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to manipulate and analyze large data sets using advanced Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail
• Great interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Experience with hiring, training, and supervising employees
• Works well in very dynamic and growing environments

Small locally-owned manufacturer of recreational and touring kayaks is seeking production workers to join our team.
We have multiple positions available. Including Kayak assembly, Shipping/Receiving, Quality Control.
Working hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Willing to consider less than full time as long as it is a set schedule. Overtime is available, not required. Starting wage $16 + per hour DOE. Full time benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, paid time off, and company match SIMPLE IRA. Advancement opportunities are available.

Small locally owned manufacturer of recreational and touring kayaks is seeking seasonal help to join the team in our shipping department.
Candidate will be responsible for online order fulfillment (pick & pack), packaging and shipping small to medium sized orders of kayak-related accessories.
Working hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Starting wage $16/hr. Full-time availability needed from 5/31 – 9/2 (Memorial Day – Labor Day) with part-time employment possible before and after,
beginning 5/2 and ending 9/30, approximately.

• Repeatedly and repetitively tape boxes, pick and pack small to medium sized items, and use computer software to process online orders and generate shipping labels
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
