Bill Flack and Tim Knight bring a combined 40+ years of experience in paddlesports, providing high-quality expert assistance to independent outdoor retailers and the paddling community.

(Burlington, WA) Eddyline is pleased to announce new sales representation for the Northeast US sales regions. Eastern Approach, Inc., the rep agency of Bill Flack, will cover the upper Northeast region (CT, MA, ME, NH, RI, VT), while Tim Knight will cover the lower Northeast region (MD, DE, NJ, NY, PA). 

Bill Flack’s resume includes direct outdoor retail, tour guiding, and brand rep experience. He began his career in outdoor product sales with Easter Mountain Sports in the late 1980s and then established a kayak touring business. Bill has represented several marquee outdoor products and paddlesport specific brands, first as a team member of larger agencies and eventually striking out to build his own agency in the region. “My approach with retailers is to be first and foremost a resource to help develop their teams and staff, not just in selling the products I represent but in growing our retailer’s business overall. Eddyline has a sterling reputation for dealer service and support, and I look forward to helping the brand grow in the region.” 

Tim Knight began paddling on the Housatonic and Farmington Rivers in his early 20s, and spent 15 years as a manager and buyer, developing the paddlesports business at an independent retailer. He has worked with several top paddlesports brands over the last 16 years, first as a team member of Eastern Approach and recently as a solo brand rep focused on the lower Northeast. Tim has a strong knowledge base of kayaks and accessories from a career in the field, which helps guide his professional philosophy. “I focus on listening to the customer and asking clarifying questions to understand their needs, and then providing tailored selections to help them make their best choice. It’s important to me to develop relationships with both the end user and the retailer, prioritizing long term growth and satisfaction over short term gains.”
